St John the Baptist, Knaresborough, Yorkshire

Details of the 8 bell tower at Knaresborough can be found here on Dove's Guide

There is a large Church car park with plenty of space for delegates to park which can be reached by turning down Vicarage Lane (off the High Street). Drive past and round the west end of the Church, you will find the car park a few hudred yards on the left. Some spaces on the right hand side are for residents, so please keep to the left. Be aware that Church Lane does not lead to the correct car park as this leads to the RC church car park which is completely separate.

The bells are accessed via a spiral staircase inside the Church (with quite a few steps), but theory sessions during the course will take place in the hall opposite the Church (20 feet away). The ringing room is spacious, with a few chairs. All bells are linked to a simulator.

St John the Bapitist is about 100 yards from the train station. Trains arrive every 30 minutes from Leeds, or once an hour from York.

The Church hall has a kitchen where refreshments and hot drinks can be prepared for delegates during the day.
