You must sign up on this site for an ART Events username before you can register for event places. Once you have signed up on this site and logged in, you will be able to:
  • Use the Events List to see full details of ART events
  • Use the registration system to register and pay for places at events
  • Use the My Registrations page to see details of your registrations, download invoices, tickets, etc.

In order to attend an event, you must register, pay, and obtain a ticket. Tickets are emailed out automatically when your payment completes, or can be downloaded from My Registrations.

A full day workshop combining both theory and practical sessions. It provides an opportunity to learn more about the bells and their fittings, what basic maintenance they need, and when and how minor repairs can be carried out.

A full day workshop that provides an opportunity to learn more about the bells and their fittings, what basic maintenance they need, and when and how minor repairs can be carried out.

All of the simulator workshops use a mix of theory, with demonstrations and opportunities for practical experience.

Workshop content

  • Health and Safety considerations in the tower.
  • Risk identification and management.
  • Different parts of a bell and associated fittings.
  • What can go wrong with bells or fittings.
  • Different types of bell installations.
  • When to call in the experts.
  • Construction of a maintenance schedule.

You will take away from the workshop a bell maintenance schedule for your tower and quite a few handouts.
